FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The dipped headlamps activation signal is sent to pin 38 of connector D of the Body Computer M1 from the steering column switch unit H5

    See E2011 DIPPED HEADLAMPS

The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 11 of connector E.

Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth.

The Body Computer M001 controls the power supply for the dipped headlamps when it receives an earth signal at pin 38 of connector D of M001; in this way it supplies the dipped headlamps for F010 (left) and F011 (right) at pin 6 with the lines protected by fuse F13 of M001.

The control for the headlamp adjustment is located in the controls to the left of the steering wheel H91.

The reference earth reaches pin 1 of H91 from pin 37 of connector D of M1.

The control signals produced by the two + and - buttons leave pin 3 of H91 for the instrument panel E50 - pin 14.

The enablement signal (dipped headlamps on) reaches pin 8 of E50 whilst the command for activating the adjustment motors incorporated in the headlamps - pin 7 of F10 (left) and F11 (right) leaves pin 7 of E50.
