FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTIONFan N085 is supplied from a line protected by fuse F83 and relay switch T30 of engine compartment junction unit B001: it is an ignition-operated power supply - start-up excluded (INT/A) controlled by pin 21 of connector C of the Body Computer M001 through the line protected by fuse F31 of M001. The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct power supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001. The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-operated (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst the ignition-operated (INT/A) signal reaches pin 1 of connector E. Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth. Control knob H081 controls the fan at different speeds via governor O030: the command signal varies according to the position of the control knob and the resistances of regulator O030 to determine four different voltage signals for the fan N085 which turns at 4 different speeds.
Outside air intake/recirculation flap motor N082 is controlled by a button located in control unit H080: button operation causes an earth signal and electrical supply to be sent to the motor. The control unit M080 receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT) from the line protected by fuse F51 of M001 and a direct supply from the line protected by fuse F36 of M001. The button that controls the engagement of the air conditioning compressor, receives an ignition-controlled supply (INT) via the line protected by fuse F51 of M001 and only sends the control signal if the control knob for the different fan speeds is in a position other than "0". See E6021 COMPRESSOR ENGAGEMENT The lighting of the controls on - with the side lights on - is supplied by the Body Computer M001 - pin 12 of connector B - to the climate control system controls G045 A and B. |
