FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The (earth) signal activating the fog lights reaches pin 45 of connector D of M001 from the control button in the panel to the left of the steering wheel H091 - pin 7.

The connection with the Body Computer for the fog lights and rear fog lamps activation signal is the same. They are connected at pin 45 of connector D of M001, but the signal is different because the resistance values in series with the two different switches located in the control panel H091 are different.

The reference earth reaches pin 1 of H091 from pin 37 of connector D of M001.

The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct powr supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst the ignition-controlled (INT/A) signal reaches pin 1 of connector E.

Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth.

The side lights activation signal is sent to pin 38 of connector D of the M001 from the steering column switch unit H005.

See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS

The Body Computer M001 controls the supply for the fog lights sending an earth signal to relay T14 in the engine compartment junction unit B001 - from pin 4 of connector B of M001.

Relay T02 is, in turn, supplied by the ignition-controlled (INT) line protected by fuse F51 of M001.

This earth signal energizes relay T14: it supplies the left fog light F015 and the right fog light F016 via the line protected by fuse F30 in junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 is connected via the CAN line to the instrument panel E050 to manage the "fog lights on" warning light.
