FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

There is a single (earth) signal sent by the steering column switch unit H005 to the Body Computer M001 that manages both the side lights and the dipped headlamps: from pin 3 of H005 to pin 38 of connector D of M001; the signal sent is coded by means of resistive dividers so that multiple information can be sent by the steering column switch unit to the Body Computer via a single connection.

The reference earth reaches pin 10 of H005 from pin 34 of connector D of M001.

The Body Computer M001 - connector A - receives a direct powr supply from the battery through the line protected by maxi fuse F01 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.

The Body Computer M001 receives an ignition-controlled (INT) power supply at pin 11 of connector E, whilst the ignition-controlled (INT/A) signal reaches pin 1 of connector E.

Pin 9 of connector E of M001 provides the Body Computer with a reference earth.

The Body Computer M001 controls the power supply for the daytime lights in the headlamps F010 (left) and F011 (right) from pins 28 and 13 of connector B

The Body Computer M001 controls the power supply for the front side lights F010 (left) and F011 (right) from pins 29 and 30 of connector B, the rear side lights F030 (left) and F031 (right) from pins 20 and 5 of connector F and the number plate lights F050 and F051 from pin 15 of connector F.

The feedback signals for the management of the electronic device are sent to pins 24 of connector B and 54 of connector F of M001.

Via the CAN line, the Body Computer M001 is connected to instrument panel E050 to manage the side lights on warning light and, if faults are detected in the circuit or in the bulbs, the lights failure warning light; in the event of a fault with the dusk sensor there is a specific signal.

The side lights are even activated if the dusk sensor is present in the rear view mirror P065 (A-BUS signal from pin 48 of connector F of M001).

The dusk sensor located in P065 is supplied by the INT line protected by fuse F49 of M001.
