Refitting

- Fully open the sliding roof.

1. Lower the spoiler (1a) from both sides, then pull it forwards and release its terminals (1b) from their housings.

2. Recover the spoiler (1a) releasing it from the side springs (2a).

- If necessary, remove the side springs as follows.

- Work on both sides of the sliding roof.

1. Unscrew the bolt.

2. Remove the spring (2a) pulling it forwards to release it from the retainer (2b).

Removing

- Check that the spoiler and the springs are not damaged.

- Place the spring in position engaging it with the retainer.

- Screw in the nut.

1. Place the spoiler (1a) in position engaging it with the side springs (1b); engage its protrusion (1c) under the retainers (1d), then push it backwards and engage its terminals (1e) in their housings.

2. If necessary, renew the vaseline in the sliding areas of the side springs.

- Check the spoiler moves correctly during sliding roof closure and opening.
