 Removing ( Refitting )

FRONT SIDE MOULDING

1. Gradually lift the front side moulding (1a) releasing the inner retainers (1b) using the special tool.

REAR SIDE MOULDING

- Remove the front side moulding as described above.

1. Remove the rear side moulding (1a), gradually detaching its adhesive parts (1b) from the rear roof housing (1c).

The moulding is damaged when it is removed and the adhesive parts can no longer be reused.

 Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the new rear side moulding is not damaged.

1. Remove the adhesive residues and degrease the housing (1a) for the rear side moulding. Take care not to scratch the paintwork.

2. Place the rear side moulding (2a) in position, then gradually remove the protective strips from the adhesive parts (2b) and stick the weatherstrip to the housing (1a).

- Check that the front side moulding is not damaged.

- Place the front side moulding in position and engage the retainers.
