Removing ( Refitting )

1. Apply adhesive bodywork tape on the sliding roof frame to mark the perimeter of the weatherstrip (1a) (to facilitate its correct refitting).

1. Remove the weatherstrip (1a), detaching the lower adhesive part (1b) from the frame housing (1c).

- The removed weatherstrip cannot be reused.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the new weatherstrip for the sliding clear section is not damaged.

1. Remove the adhesive residues and degrease the housing (1a) for the weatherstrip (1b). Take care not to scratch the paintwork.

1. Place the weatherstrip (1a) in position, keeping its junction (1b) (and the corresponding vent holes (1c)) in the middle of the rear side of the frame.

Gradually remove the protective strip from the lower adhesive part and stick the weatherstrip (1a) to its housing, following the position on the frame marked during the removal.

For the bonding to be efficient, the bonding surfaces must have a temperature of no less than 20°C.

- After having refitted the sliding transparent panel, check that it is working properly and in the correct position when closed.
