- Remove the brake and clutch pedal switches. |

- Unscrew the brake-clutch fluid reservoir plug and drain it with reference to: |

1. Remove the footrest support (1a) releasing the inner retainers (1b). |
  |
1. Disconnect the wiring (1a) from the sound insulating panel (1b). 2. Cut the sound insulating panel (1b) in the section (2a) to release it from the wiring (1a). 3. Remove the retainers. 4. Remove the sound insulating panel (1b) releasing it from the bulkhead seals (4a) and (4b). |

Refitting

- Check that the sound insulation panel is not damaged. 1. Cut the new sound insulation panel (1a) in the section (1b) in order to fit it in place without removing the wiring. 2. Place the sound insulation panel in position. 3. Join the edges of the cut (2a) on the sound insulation panel using adhesive for plastics. 4. Attach the bulkhead seals. 5. Fit the retainers. 6. Connect the wiring (6a) to the sound insulating panel (1a). |

- Position the footrest support and engage the inner retainers. |
