Refitting

   Op. 5580C44 FRONT SIDE BAG MODULE (ONE) LH OR RH - R.R

- Separate the backrest cover from the upholstery.

1. Remove the heater pad (1a) from the upholstery (1b), detaching the adhesive surfaces (1c).

Detach the adhesive strips (1c) carefully, taking care not to also detach parts of the upholstery (1b); if some is accidentally removed, it should be replaced.

Removing

- Check that the heater pad is not damaged.

- If the heater pad removed previously is being reused, apply special adhesive spray for plastics to the adhesive surfaces.

Apply the adhesive spray to the adhesive strips only, masking the other parts of the heater pad appropriately.

- If a new heater pad is being used, remove the protective film for the adhesive surfaces.

- Place the heater pad in position centering it in the upholstery splining.

- Stick the heater pad adhesive surfaces to the upholstery.
