Refitting

   Op. 7045B10 FRONT SEAT HEAD RESTRAINT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.

- Separate the cusion cover from the padding.

1. Remove the heater pad (1a) detaching the adhesive strips (1b) from the padding (1c), then extract the wiring (1d) from the opening (1e) in the upholstery.

Detach the adhesive strips (1b) carefully, taking care not to also detach parts of the upholstery (1c); if some is accidentally removed, it should be replaced.

If present, take care not to damage the passenger presence sensor (1f).

Removing

- Check that the heater pad is not damaged.

- If the heater pad removed previously is being reused, fit the adhesive strips on it using special adhesive spray for plastics.

Apply the adhesive spray to the adhesive strips only, masking the other parts of the heater pad appropriately.

- If a new heater pad is being used, remove the protective film for the adhesive strips.

- Fit the heater pad wiring in the opening for the padding.

- Place the heater pad in position centering it in the upholstery splining.

If fitted, take care not to damage the passenger presence sensor.

- Stick the heater pad adhesive surfaces to the upholstery.
