1. Undo the inner bolts (1a) securing the device (1b). 2. Undo the outer bolt securing the device. 3. Remove the height adjustment device releasing it from the splined shaft to which it is connected. |

1. If necessary, remove the toothed pinion (1a) releasing it from the toothed sector (1b). |
  |
1. If necessary, remove the inner plate (1a) releasing the retainer (1b). |

Refitting

- Check that the height adjustment device is not damaged. - If removed, position the inner plate and attach the retainer. - If removed, position the toothed pinion attaching it to the toothed sector. - Position the height adjustment device attaching it to the splined shaft. - Tighten the bolts securing the device.
