Refitting

1. Remove the badge (1a) using the special tool, releasing the label (1b) from the surface (1c) of the shield.

If necessary, to facilitate the detachment of the label, heat the badge and the surrounding shield gently using an air heater.

Removing

- Check that the new badge is not damaged.

1. Clean and degrease the area (1a) of the shield where the badge is stuck thoroughly using a solvent for plastics.

2. Remove the protective film for the adhesive surface (2a) of the new badge (2b), then place the badge straight away on the shield aligning the references (2c); stick the adhesive surface applying manual pressure to the badge.

Do not touch the adhesive surfaces with your hands when fitting. Bond at an ambient temperature that is not excessively low.

3. Exert pressure once again on the badge to guarantee that the air bubbles are completely expelled and the adhesive adheres correctly to the surface of the shield.
