- Protect the vehicle upholstery with suitable cloths. 1. Use a drill to remove the rivets (1a) securing the moulding (1b). 2. Release the front retaining stud using the special tool.

1. Remove the moulding (1a) detaching the adhesive section (1b) from the front pillar. |

Refitting

- Check that the moulding is not damaged. - Remove the residues of the rivets removed. 1. Clean and degrease the area (1a) of the front pillar involved in the sticking of the adhesive (1b) of the moulding (1c) using heptane. |

1. Position the moulding (1a) leaving the tab (1b) for the protective film for the adhesive section out (for removal later on). |
  |
1. Attach the moulding (1a) to the retainer (1b) for the rear fixed window, then fit the front retaining stud (1c). |
  |
1. Fit the nine rear rivets (1b) shown to the moulding (1a) starting from the back. 2. Pull the tab (2a) and remove the protective film for the adhesive strip (2b) for the moulding. 3. Fit the front rivets (3a) on the moulding (1a). |
