Refitting

- Open the bonnet.

1. Rotate the support (1a) through 90° and release the retainer (1b) from the seat (1c), then extract it.

1. Support the bonnet without using the bonnet stay, then release the retainer (1a) from the bonnet stay (1b) and extract the end of the actual stay from the seat (1c).

1. Extract the stay lower seat (1a) from the seat in the body releasing the retainers (1b).

1. Extract the upper support (1a) after having released the retainers (1b) and (1c) from the seat (1d).

Removing

- Check that the support components are not damaged.

- Place the upper support in position and attach the retainers.

- Place the lower retainer in its seat in the body and attach the retainers.

- Fit the end of the stay in position and attach the retainer.

- Check that the bonnet stay is working correctly.

- Fit the stay in its seat when at rest and turn through 90° to the correct position.
