Refitting

- Remove the right or left trim.

   Op. 7040H66 LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R.

1. Undo screw (1a) securing the winder (1b).

2. Remove the winder by releasing the retainer (2a) from its seat.

3. Take the winder and seat belt.

Removing

- Check that the seat belt and reel are not damaged.

If the belt is subjected to a great deal of strain, for example following an accident, it should be replaced together with the mountings and the retaining bolts. Even if no defects appear to be present, the belt could have lost its properties of strength.

1. Place the winder and seat belt (1a) in position and attach the retainer (1b).

2. Screw in the bolt fixing the seat belt reel, then tighten it to the recommended torque.
