Removing ( Refitting )

Before removing and refitting the pretensioners, observe the specified safety regulations (see 7065 - Introduction).

   Op. 7040H38 CENTRE PILLAR UPPER ELEMENT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R

   Op. 7040H80 REAR PARCEL SHELF - R.R.

   Op. 7040H66 LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R.

- Or, alternatively

   Op. 7040H67 RIGHT REAR SIDE TRIM, WITH REAR PARCEL SHELF SUPPORT - R.R.

   Op. 7050A19 REAR SEAT BACKREST - R.R

   Op. 7040H50 REAR PANEL (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.

1. Undo the pretensioner fixing bolt.

2. Detach the electrical connection for the pretensioner.

3. Retain the pretensioner by releasing the positioning retainer.

 Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the pretensioner is not damaged.

1. Connect the electrical connection for the pretensioner.

2. Place the pretensioner in position and engage the positioning retainer.

3. Screw in the pretensioner retaining bolt and tighten to the recommended torque.

Do not use percussion screwdrivers.
