- Lift up the rear seat cushion.
- Lower the backrest.
- Remove the luggage compartment load platform trim.

1. Undo the backrest rod fixing bolts. 2. Release the side retailers (2a) of the backrest from the seats on the body. Move the tapered bushings (2b) inwards to facilitate detachment. 3. Remove the backrest. |

Refitting

- Check that the backrest is not damaged. - Position the backrest and engage the side retainers in the corresponding housings on the body. - Tighten the backrest tie-rod retaining bolts. |

- Position the luggage compartment load platform trim. - Raise the backrest. - Lower the rear seat cushion. |
