Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

   Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE -R.R.

1. Undo the connector (1a) for the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger (1b), heat exchanger side.

1. Undo the connector (1a) and remove the coolant outlet pipe from the engine oil heat exchanger (1b).

Removing

- Place the coolant outlet pipe from the engine oil heat exchanger in position and tighten the connectors complete with new gaskets.

The tightening of the connectors is described below and should be carried out keeping the pipe still. Any movements of more than 3° affect the seal of the connectors.
