Removing ( Refitting )

- Drain the supply pipe from tank to LPG pressure regulator, following the instructions and the procedure below

   Op. 1043A02 LPG SYSTEM LINES PIPE DRAINING OPERATIONS

- Return the vehicle to the workshop (in petrol operation mode) and place it on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    Op. 1043A13 LPG TANK COVER - R.R.

    Op. 1043A17 LPG INTAKE SOLENOID VALVE COIL - R.R.

1. Check that the supply cock from tank to LPG pressure regulator is closed.

2. Working on the hexagon shown, unscrew the LPG intake solenoid valve and remove it.

Do not work on the socket head screw (a) to prevent spring pre-load modifications.

3. Separate the solenoid valve body (3a), with O-ring, from the core (3b) and retain the spring (3c).

Refitting ( Removing )

1. Fit a new O-ring on the solenoid valve body (1a), place the spring (1b) and the core (1c) in position.

2. Apply a drop of lubricating oil on the thread of the LPG intake solenoid valve and tighten to the prescribed torque.

  

3. Open the delivery cock from tank to LPG pressure regulator.

    Op. 1043A13 LPG TANK COVER - R.R.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

    Op. 1043A04 GPL SYSTEM AND PIPES CHECK FOR LEAKS
