Refitting

- Open the bonnet.

1. Remove the cover (1a) for the positive battery terminal, releasing the retainers (1b).

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the lead (1b) from the positive battery terminal (1c).

1. Unscrew the bolts.

2. Remove the cover for the junction unit container.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the lead (1b) from the battery.

2. Remove the lead (1b) between battery and junction box.

Removing

- Check that the electric cable is not damaged and that the leads are correctly fastened to the connections.

If necessary, carry out continuity tests.

1. Position the lead between battery and junction box.

2. Connect the lead (2a) to the junction unit and tighten the nut (2b).

- Posiition the cover for the junction unit container.

- Screw in the bolts.

- Connect the lead to the positive battery terminal and tighten the nut.

- Position the cover for the positive battery terminal and engage the retainers.

- Close the bonnet.
