Refitting

- Raise the seat until it is in the end of travel position.

   Op. 7045A10 FRONT SEAT (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the backrest heater pad.

2. Release the retainers (2a) for the airbag wiring (2b) from the backrest frame.

3. Extract the airbag wiring (2b) from the backrest frame opening (3a).

1. Working on the lower side of the cushion, release the edge (1a) of the cushion cover from the retainers (1b).

2. Move the airbag wiring.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the cushion heater pad.

2. Release the retainer (2a) for the airbag wiring (2b) with the special tool.

1. Working on the electrical connection (1a) for the seat, cut the wiring retaining band (1b).

2. Use a screwdriver to release the retainer (2a), then withdraw the cover (2b) in the direction of the arrow.

1. Take out the retainer (1a) to the end of its travel.

2. Take out the retainer (2a) to the end of its travel.

1. Use tool (2000018613) (1a) to release the side retainers (1b) then take out the relevant electrical half-connection (1c).

- Keep the side bag wiring harness.

Removing

- Check that the side bag wiring harness is not damaged and that the individual wires are correctly fastened to the connections.

If necessary, carry out continuity tests.

- Position the side bag wiring harness.

- Insert the relevant electrical half-connection in its seat and engage the side retainers.

- Insert the retainers to the end of their travel in reverse order compared to their removal.

- Insert the seat electrical connection cover and engage the retainer.

- Fit the wiring retaining band.

- Working on the lower side of the cushion, engage the airbag wiring retainer.

- Connect the electrical connection for the cushion heater pad.

- Position the airbag wiring under the edge of the cushion cover, then engage the edge itself with the retainers.

- Insert the airbag wiring into the opening in the backrest frame.

- Engage the airbag wiring retainers on the backrest frame.

- Connect the electrical connection for the backrest heater pad.
