Removing ( Refitting )

See the Wiring Diagrams section for accurate identification of the electrical connections.

1. Working in the area of the rear seat, release the cover (1a) for the fuel pump.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pump.

2. Release the wiring duct seal.

1. Working in the area of the front seats, undo the nuts (1a) and move the electrical half connections (1b) for the two front seats.

1. Working in the front windscreen wiper housing, disconnect the connection (1a) for the rear windscreen wiper pipes (1b).

2. Working from inside the passenger compartment, extract part (2a) of the pipe, releasing it from the duct seal (2b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the wiring not yet disconnected.

2. Release the wiring retainers.

3. Where necessary, fit the probes to be left in place of the wiring (to be used for refitting the wiring during the refitting stage).

4. Remove the wiring.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the wiring is not damaged and that the individual conductors are correctly fastened to the connections.

If necessary, carry out continuity tests.

- Position the wiring, using any probes that were left during the removal stage.

- Fit the wiring retainers.

- Connect the wiring electrical connections that can be connected.

1. Working from inside the passenger compartment, fit part (1a) of the pipe for the rearscreen wiper, attaching it to the duct seal (1b).

2. Working in the front windscreen wiper housing, connect the connection (2a) for the rear windscreen wiper pipes (2b).

- Working in the area of the front seats, position the electrical half connections for the two front seats and tighten the nuts.

- Working in the area of the rear seat, attach the wiring duct seal and connect the electrical connection for the fuel pump.

Attach the fuel pump cover.
