1. Working on the inside of the tailgate opening control (1a), release the electrical connection (1b) from the tailgate retainer, then disconnect it.
2. Undo the retaining nuts. 3. From the outside of the tailgate, remove the tailgate opening control (1a) complete with wiring. |

Refitting

- Check that the tailgate opening control is not damaged. 1. Check that the seal is efficient. |

- Position the tailgate opening control and wiring. - Tighten the retaining nuts. - Connect the electrical connection and attach it to the tailgate retainer. |
