Removing ( Refitting )

If the tyre pressure sender is replaced, the following procedure must be carried out in sequence using the diagnosis equipment:

- Aerial replacement.

- Position the vehicle on a lift and raise it.

- Remove the number plate lights.

    Op. 5540A94 (ONE) NUMBER PLATE LIGHT - R.R.

    Op. 7210E66 R.R. REAR BUMPER

1. Working at the back of the additional wheel arch, disconnect the electrical connection (1a) for the pressure sender (1b).

2. Remove the rivets using a drill.

3. Keep the pressure sender and bracket.

1. If necessary, remove the rivets (1a) using a drill and separate the pressure sender (1b) from the bracket.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the pressure sender is not damaged.

- If removed, place the pressure sender on the bracket and fit the rivets.

- Position the pressure sender and bracket.

- Fit the rivets.

- Connect the electrical connection.

   Op. 5540A94 (ONE) NUMBER PLATE LIGHT - R.R.

- Remove the car from the lift.

- Check that the TPMS is working properly.
