Removing ( Refitting )

If the TPMS control unit is replaced, the following procedures must be carried out in sequence using the diagnosis equipment:

- Automatic configuration read

- Automatic configuration write.

- Open the tailgate.

1. Working under the right support for the rear shelf, undo the screws (1a) securing the control unit.

2. Extract the control unit (2b) through the housing (2a).

3. Move the protection for the electrical connection.

4. Detach the electrical connection for the control unit.

5. Keep the control unit.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the control unit is not damaged.

- Secure the electrical connection for the control unit.

- Fit the protection for the electrical connection.

- Position the control unit.

- Do up the screws.

- Close the tailgate.

Removing ( Refitting )

If the TPMS control unit is replaced, the following procedures must be carried out in sequence using the diagnosis equipment:

- Write the rated front and rear tyre pressure values

- Programme ID of rear right tyre sensor

- Programme ID of rear left tyre sensor

- Programme ID of front left tyre sensor

- Programme ID of front right tyre sensor

- Carry out the "TPMS sensor roller bench test" procedure.

- Place the car on a lift.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Undo the nuts and remove the TPMS control unit.

APPLIES TO VERSIONS WITH: M.Y. 2013

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the TPMS control unit is not damaged.

- Place the TPMS control unit in position and tighten the nuts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the TPMS control unit.

   Op. 5540A94 (ONE) NUMBER PLATE LIGHT - R.R.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Remove the car from the lift.
