Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Raise the vehicle.

1. Working in the middle area of the rear axle, disconnect the electrical connection (1a) for the sensor (1b).

2. Undo the nut (2a) and disconnect the connecting rod (2b) from the sensor.

3. Loosen the sensor retaining bolts.

4. Remove the sensor.

Removing

- Check that the sensor is not damaged.

- Position the sensor and tighten the bolts.

- Connect the connecting rod to the sensor and tighten the nut.

- Connect the electrical connection.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Reset the position of the headlamps using an Examiner or other diagnostic instrument.
