Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R.

1. Remove the staking from the nut fixing the wheel hub.

1. Install the counter-torque tool on the brake disc.

2. Undo the nut fixing the hub to the wheel strut.

1. Undo the nut fixing the steering rod to the wheel strut.

1. Using the tool (1a), disconnect the steering rod (1b) from the wheel strut.

1. Undo the bolt securing the front suspension wishbone to the wheel strut.

1. Undo the screws fixing the brake disc to the wheel hub.

1. Using the tool, retract the driveshaft from the wheel hub and secure the brake disc assembly appropriately.

1. Remove the tool and tighten the screws securing the brake disc to the wheel hub to the prescribed torque.

1. Loosen the screws fixing the intermediate driveshaft mounting bearing to the mounting.

1. Remove the right drive shaft with intermediate driveshaft.

Removing

- Refit the right driveshaft complete with intermediate driveshaft.

1. Tighten the screws fixing the intermediate driveshaft mounting bearing to the mounting to the prescribed torque.

1. Tighten the new bolt securing the front suspension wishbone to the wheel strut to the prescribed torque.

1. Connect the steering link to the wheel strut and tighten the new nut to the specified torque.

1. Fit the tool (1a) and tighten the new wheel hub retaining nut (1b) to the prescribed torque.

1. Stake the wheel hub retaining nut as below described.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
