Removing ( Refitting )

   Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

1. Open the fastening clips (1a) and disconnect the wiring harnesses from the battery frame (1b).

2. Release and remove the battery retainer bracket.

3. Unscrew the bolts.

4. Remove the battery drip tray.

1. If required, remove the wiring clip (1a), then loosen the nut (1b) and remove the support (1c) with battery fastening belt.

 Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the battery drip tray is not damaged.

- If removed, position the support and belt and fix with the nut.

- Connect the retaining clip.

1. Place the battery drip tray in its housing.

2. Screw in the bolts and tighten them to the recommended torque.

3. Insert the battery holder bracket in its seat.

4. Connect the wiring to the battery drip tray.

Removing ( Refitting )

1. Open the fastening clips (1a) and disconnect the wiring harnesses from the battery frame (1b).

2. If the battery retaining bracket (2a) is in the position illustrated (above the screw (2b) fixing the battery drip tray) remove it disengaging the retainers.

1. Unscrew the bolts.

2. Remove the battery drip tray (2a).

1. Position the battery drip tray (1a).

2. Screw in the bolts and tighten them to the recommended torque.

- If removed, fit the battery retaining bracket in place and engage the retainers.

- Connect the electrical wiring to the battery drip tray and close the retaining bands.
