1. Insert the tools (1a) fully in the housings (1b) in the Bluetooth ECU.

2. Engage the tools (1a), push them inwards and pull them towards yourself. Extract the Bluetooth ECU (2a) and release it from its retainers (2b).

1. Disconnect the antenna and ECU connections (1a, 1b, 1c).

2. Keep the Bluetooth control unit.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Check that the Bluetooth control unit is not damaged.

- Connect the electrical connections.

- Place the Bluetooth ECU in position and attach the retainers. Take care not to pinch the electrical wires.

- Connect the battery.

The control unit must be connected electrically at least 5 minutes before the key on.

Some of the CAN nodes, including the Bluetooth control unit, are programmed with default settings that the customer will find when they purchase the vehicle. If the control unit is being replaced, the Parts Dept. will send a pristine component: once fitted, the data memorised in the Body Computer must be transferred to it by carrying out the PROXY ALIGNMENT procedure using the Examiner.

- Test the operation of the systems involved.
