Removing ( Refitting )

For the 1.4 Turbo MultiAir version with dual clutch automatic transmission, when the side acceleration and yaw sensor is replaced, connect the Examiner diagnosis equipment and carry out the following procedures:

- data set deletion

- longitudinal accelerator sensor learning.

- Remove the rear cover on the tunnel complete with handbrake lever boot, with reference to

    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the yaw sensor.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the yaw sensor (2b).

 Refitting ( Removing )

1. Fit the yaw sensor (1a) in place and tighten the nuts (1b) to the recommended torque.

To fit the yaw sensor correctly, the arrow on the sensor should be pointing inthe direction of travel.

2. Connect the electrical connection for the yaw sensor.
