Removing ( Refitting )

This procedure is valid only for the 120 HP version.

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R.

    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE -R.R.

    Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.

    Op. 0010T40 CHANGE MANUAL GEARBOX OIL

    Op. 2710A14 RIGHT DRIVESHAFT WITH JOINTS AND INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT - R+R

- Position the intermediate driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

1. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the right driveshaft (1b) from the intermediate driveshaft (1c).

- Remove the intermediate driveshaft from the vice.
Refitting ( Removing )

- Thoroughly wash the sliding joint components.

- Position the intermediate driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

- Fill the sliding joint with the prescribed grease.

- Place the right driveshaft in its housing and tighten the protection boot retaining clamp making sure the edge (a) corresponds to the notch (b) of the intermediate shaft.

The retaining clip (c) of the protection boot clamp must be in the position shown in the figure.

- Remove the intermediate driveshaft from the vice.

- Position the intermediate driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

- Remove the intermediate driveshaft from the vice.
