Removing ( Refitting )

This procedure is valid only for the 120 HP version.

- Position the driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

1. Loosen the gaiter retaining bands and retract it.

1. With the tools (1a) and (1b) remove the constant velocity joint from the wheel side (1c).

1. Remove the protective boot.

Refitting ( Removing )

- Wash the constant velocity joint components thoroughly and visually inspect that there are no signs of seizing or grooves on the balls or seats.

- Fill the constant velocity joint with the prescribed grease.

- Place the constant velocity joint in its seat and tighten the new protection boot retaining clamps.

- Remove the driveshaft from the vice.
