Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Remove the staking from the wheel hub fixing nut.

1. Fit the counter-torque tool on the brake disc.

2. Undo the nut fixing the hub to the steering knuckle.

1. Undo the nut securing the steering rod to the steering knuckle.

1. Using the tool (1a) disconnect the steering rod (1b) from the steering knuckle.

1. Undo the bolt securing the front suspension track control arm to the steering knuckle.

- Undo the retaining bolts fastening the brake disc to the wheel hub.

1. Using the tool, retract the left driveshaft from the wheel hub and secure the brake disc assembly appropriately.

- Remove the tool and tighten the bolts securing the brake disc to the wheel hub to the recommended torque.

1. Using a suitable tool, release and remove the left driveshaft from the differential.

Removing

- Place the left driveshaft in its seat, connecting it to the differential and to the wheel hub.

1. Connect the steering link to the steering knuckle and tighten the new nut to the specified torque.

1. Tighten the new bolt fixing the front suspension track control arm to the steering knuckle to the recommended torque.

- Fit the tool and tighten the new wheel hub fixing nut to the recommended torque.

1. Stake the nut fixing the wheel hub as described below.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
