 |
- Position the vehicle on a lift. |
|
1. Undo the gearbox casing filler plug and check that the fluid is in line with the plug opening; if not, refer to |
|
for topping up with the recommended fluid. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Position the vehicle on a lift. |
|
|
|
|
|
  |
1. Unscrew the gearbox oil filler plug. |
  |
1. Unscrew the gearbox oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain out into a suitable container. |
  |
1. The threaded plug shown in the figure should not be used for draining and refilling the gearbox oil. It should not therefore be removed from its seat. |
|
|
- Clean the drain plug and the plug seat, removing any residues of sealant. |
  |
1. Apply sealant on the threads of the drain plug and tighten to the prescribed torque.
|
|
|
- Add oil of the specified type and quantity through the inlet opening.
|
  |
1. Clean the drain plug, refit and tighten it to the prescribed torque.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
