MORE/APPS button - Network Information


OPERATIONS IN PRODUCTION

Please that in order to standardise the product, the MORE button (A – Fig. 1), which appears underneath the display of some VP2 and VP4 infotainment systems, will be replaced with the APPS button (B – Fig. 1) already present on systems currently being produced.

The change only affects the name; the button's function remains the same.

Pressing this button accesses the display of additional functions, such as: Time, Trip Computer, eco:Drive function data, Compass, Outdoor Temperature, Settings, Uconnect™ LIVE services where present, etc.

OPERATIONS AT THE DEALERSHIPS

  • Therefore, the presence of the APPS button (B) instead of the MORE button (A) must not be considered as a nonconformity.
  • In Spare Parts, infotainment systems with the MORE button will be gradually replaced by versions with the APPS button, as stocks run out.
  • When replacing an infotainment system with MORE button with a new one with APPS button, tell the Customer that the presence of the APPS button does not imply any additional contents and that the system's functions are still the same as when the car was purchased.
