SERVICE NETWORK INFORMATION

It should be remembered that the electric power steering (EPS) is a vital component for the safety of the vehicle.

Therefore, to ensure it remains in working order, follow the instructions in the Fiat Service Literature (Service Manuals, Owner's Handbooks, Service News, etc.) very carefully during all servicing operations.

For the above reason, you are reminded that all aftermarket interventions on the steering system or steering column (e.g. fitting of alarm systems or other interventions not described in the publications mentioned above) are forbidden. In addition to cancelling the warranty, compromising system performance and giving rise to major safety problems, they could effect the type-approval of the vehicle and cause the car to be impounded by the police and may have legal consequences if the tampering should cause road accidents.
