CLAIMED FAULT

The customer complains of one or more of the following faults:

• Failed unlocking/locking of doors/tailgate from the remote control.
• Irregular operation of the Stop/Start system.
• Anomalous operation of the Line Change warning.

TECHNICAL CAUSE

Software calibration.

OPERATIONS AT THE DEALERSHIPS

DEALERSHIP BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER

• Once the Customer's claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that it will be solved by reprogramming the Body Computer.
• After the operation, show the Customer what has been done and make sure he is satisfied.

Service Solution

Once the Customer's claimed fault is confirmed, reprogramme the Body Computer using wiTECHPlus according to the Operating Cycle below

OPERATION CYCLE

• Using wiTECHPlus updated to the latest software release, reprogramme the Body Computer.

The vehicle battery must be in full charge conditions or supported by a battery charger/booster battery so as to ensure a rated voltage of 12 V, during reprogramming.

If the reprogramming process is interrupted/aborted, it must be restarted.

• ‏Reset all errors (DTCs) generated in other modules as a result of reprogramming. At the end of the reprogramming procedure, all the DTCs are automatically displayed for being reset.

The following tables show the hardware (HW) and software (SW) codes of the Body Computer, before and after reprogramming.
