OPERATIONS IN NETWORK

Network behaviour standards towards the Customer

  • Once the customer's claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that the problem will be solved by replacing the air conditioning system condenser with a new, improved one.
  • After the operation, show the Customer what has been done and make sure he is satisfied.

Service Solution

Once the claimed fault is confirmed, replace the air conditioner system condenser with a new, improved one, coming from the Spare Parts Dpt., according to the following Operating Cycle.

OPERATION CYCLE

Follow the prescribed safety instructions (5040 - Introduction).
  • Position the car on a lift.
  • Drain coolant, with reference to Op. 0010T84 of the Service Manual.
  • Undo the fixing screws (1 - Fig. 1) and remove the air conditioning condenser (2), with reference to Op. 5040A40 of the Service Manual.

  • Install the new condenser for the air conditioning system, taken from the Spare Parts Dpt., with reference to Op. 5040A40 of the Service Manual.
  • Recharge coolant, with reference to Op. 0010T84 of the Service Manual.
  • Remove the vehicle from the lift.

During refitting, replace: seals, oil seal rings, spring washers, safety plates, self-locking nuts, pretreated screws and shear bolts and - where necessary - top-up (without any change) levels of fluids and lubricants.
