• Once the claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that it will be solved by replacing the detached chrome bar with a new, improved one.
• After the operation, show the Customer what has been done and make sure he is satisfied.

Service Solution

Once the customer's claimed fault is confirmed, replace the detached chrome bar with new, improved one, from the kit, according to the Operating Cycle below.

OPERATION CYCLE

To refit the chrome bar/bars, the new kit, no. 156099841, of chrome bars for the grille is available.

For the replacement in case of detachment/loss, proceed as follows.

• Degrease the areas for bar fastening - both on the grille and on the bar - using paper dipped in heptane or pre-dipped tissues.

Any type of alcohol is forbidden (denaturated ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol), even if as an additive for the tissues.

• Apply some silicone beads next to the adhesion areas on the grille and on the fins of the new bar, as show in Fig. 1;
• Apply the new bar on the grille, until the clips are properly secured. Remove all residues with heptane.
• Leave the car rest at room temperature (between +18 C and +30 C and humidity between 30% and 80%) for at least 4 hours.

Use Dow Corning 7091 no. 71713687 silicone, with cut nozzle (diameter 3 mm) using a hand gun for cartridges, at room temperature.

For the use of chemicals closely follow the instructions and warnings on the safety sheet submitted by the supplier to the final user in compliance with the regulations in force in the area (in accordance with Italian Law Decrees 52/97 and 285/98 and subsequent modifications and additions). Do not touch with bare hands the areas where adhesive is to be laid.
