FAULT COMPLAINED OF

Incorrect fuel level reading.

TECHNICAL CAUSE

Software parameters not ideal.

OPERATIONS IN NETWORK

Network behaviour standards towards the Customer

  • Once the claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that the fault will be solved by reprogramming the LPG ECU.
  • After the intervention, show the Customer what has been done and make sure he is satisfied.

Service Solution

Once the customer's claimed fault is confirmed, reprogramme the LPG ECU as described in the Operating Cycle below.

OPERATION CYCLE

Once the claimed fault is confirmed, reprogramme the LPG ECU with reference to SN 10.18.10.

During the LPG tank reserve phase (red LED on) the switching to petrol may occur (signalled by the buzzer) even if the tank still contains a few litres of gas.

When the LPG level lowers to the reserve area and in special gas composition and temperature conditions the system may indeed not deliver LPG. In this case, the switching to petrol is operated with buzzer indicating the LPG is run out.

Possible differences in the mileage covered with the reserve of the LPG tank (red LED on) must therefore not be considered as anomaly.
