BODY COMPUTER - START&STOP
Occasional restarting of the engine - Service Solution |

FAULT COMPLAINED OF
Incorrect operation of the Start&Stop system; after the correct stopping, occasionally the engine restarts automatically without any action by the driver.
TECHNICAL CAUSE
Incorrect Body Computer software parameters.
OPERATIONS IN NETWORK
Network behaviour standards towards the Customer
-If the claimed fault is confirmed, reassure the Customer that it can be solved by reprogramming the Body Computer.-After the intervention, check the work done and make sure that the Customer is satisfied.Service Solution
If the customer''s claimed fault is confirmed, reprogramme the Body Computer control unit using the new software CD Flash 6.00.0 (or higher) available on the Examiner Web according to the Operating Cycle below.
OPERATION CYCLE
If the claimed fault is found, use Examiner with release 7.80.1 (or higher), to reprogramme the Body Computer using CD Flash 6.00.0 (or higher) available from Examiner Web.
 | The vehicle battery must be in full charge conditions or supported by a battery charger/booster battery so as to ensure a rated voltage of 12 V, during reprogramming. |
