Precautions - Network Information


OPERATIONS AT THE DEALERSHIPS

Observe the following precautions to ensure the system is fully operational:

  • The display is sensitive to scratching, liquids and detergents. The display should not come into contact with pointed or rigid objects which could damage its surface.
  • Always keep clean and in perfect conditions the touch screen of the device, cleaning it regularly. Dirt might cause damage or malfunction.
  • Only clean the front panel and the display lens with a soft, clean, dry, anti-static cloth. Cleaning and polishing products might damage the surface. Never use alcohol, petrols and derivatives.
  • Do not press too much on the display when cleaning it.
  • Prevent any liquid from entering the system: this could damage it beyond repair.

NEVER USE THE DISPLAY AS A BASE FOR APPLYING SUCKER SUPPORTS OR ADHESIVES FOR MOBILES AND PORTABLE NAVIGATORS. IF SUCKERS ARE STUCK ON THE DISPLAY, IT MIGHT GET DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR (see example in Fig. 1).

Repair and/or replacement operations due to an incorrect use or maintenance of the device are not under warranty coverage.
