Refitting

1. Unscrew the cap and screw the tool onto the brake/clutch fluid tank.

- Connect a suitable container to the bleed valve of one front brake caliper.

- Loosen the bleed valve and pump the brake pedal several times to drain the fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir.

1. Disconnect the quick connectors and remove the hoses from the master cylinder.

1. Disconnect the hose for the clutch pump from the reservoir.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the brake fluid minimum level warning light switch.

3. Undo the fastenings (3a) and remove the reservoir (3b) complete with mounting bracket.

- Position the reservoir mounting bracket in a vice fitted with protective jaws.

1. Compress the spring and remove the minimum brake fluid warning light switch from the reservoir.

2. Compress the spring (2a) and separate the reservoir (2b) from the mounting bracket (2c).

Removing

- Install the reservoir on the mounting bracket using the retaining clip.

- Place the brake fluid minimum level warning light switch in its housing and engage the retaining clip.

- Place the reservoir assembly back into the engine compartment and tighten the fastenings to the bodyshell.

- Connect the electrical connection for the brake fluid minimum level warning light switch and close the wiring retaining clip.

- Apply pressure to connect the hose for the clutch pump to the reservoir.

- Connect the quick connectors for the hoses to the master cylinder.
