 Removing

Refitting

1. Unscrew the cap and screw the tool onto the brake/clutch fluid tank.

|
- Connect a suitable container to the bleed valve of one front brake caliper. - Loosen the bleed valve and pump the brake pedal several times to drain the fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir.

  |
1. Disconnect the quick connectors and remove the hoses from the master cylinder. |
  |
1. Undo the connectors and disconnect the pipes from the master cylinder. 2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the master cylinder (2b) complete with O-ring from the brake servo. |
  |
Refitting
(

)
1. Place the master cylinder (1a), complete with new O-ring in its housing and tighten the nuts (1b) to the prescribed torque.
2. Tighten to the specified torque the connectors for the pipes from the master cylinder to the electro-hydraulic control unit.

- Connect the quick connectors for the hoses to the master cylinder. |
