|
- Position the driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws. 1. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the inner driveshaft (1b). |

Refitting

- Fill the sliding joint with the prescribed grease.
- Place the internal driveshaft in position and connect it to the driveshaft using the band. Op. 2710A10 DRIVESHAFT COMPLETE WITH JOINTS (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R. |

|
- Position the vehicle on a lift. |
|
|
|
|

|

  |
1. Undo the bolt securing the front suspension wishbone to the wheel strut. |
  |
1. Undo the nut fixing the steering rod to the wheel strut. |
  |
1. Using the tool (1a), disconnect the steering rod (1b) from the wheel strut.
|
  |
1. Loosen the band and retract the left driveshaft from the differential internal driveshaft. |
  |
1. Using a suitable tool, remove the differential inner driveshaft. |
|
|
- Clean the sliding joint components thoroughly. |
|
|
Refitting
(
Removing

- Fill the sliding joint with the prescribed grease.
|
|
|
- Place the differential internal driveshaft in its housing. - Place the left driveshaft in its housing and tighten the clamp of the gaiter on the differential side. |
  |
|
  |
1. Connect the steering link to the wheel strut and tighten the new nut to the specified torque.
|
  |
1. Tighten the new bolt securing the front suspension wishbone to the wheel strut to the prescribed torque.
|
|
|
|

|
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
