Refitting

   Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

1. Using the tool (1a), press the retaining tabs (1a) and disconnect the brake servo push rod from the pedal.

- Remove the retaining device from the brake servo push rod.

The retaining device must be replaced each time the brake servo push rod is dismantled.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the brake servo to the pedal unit mounting.

1. Disconnect the brake-clutch fluid level sensor electrical connection

2. Disconnect the single-acting valve from the brake servo.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the brake pump (1b) complete with brake-clutch fluid reservoir.

1. Remove the brake servo.

Removing

1. Refit the brake servo in its housing and tighten the nuts to the recommended torque.

1. Place the brake pump (1a) in its housing complete with brake-clutch fluid reservoir and tighten the nuts (1b) to the recommended torque.

- Press fit the single acting valve to the brake servo.

- Connect the brake-clutch fluid level sensor electrical connection

- Fit the new retaining device on the brake pedal to attach the retaining clips; position the brake servo push rod ball joint seat.

- Retract the brake servo slightly, raise the pedal and position the brake servo push rod by the retaining device.

- Press the brake pedal to fit the brake servo push rod on the retaining device.
