- Position the vehicle on a lift. |
|
|
Op. 1048B25 INTERMEDIATE RIGID PIPE BETWEEN HEAT EXCHANGER AND THROTTLE BODY - R R |

Op. 1048B30 AIR SUPPLY HOSE FROM RIGID PIPE TO THROTTLE BODY - REPLACE |
|
  |
1. Disconnect the gear selector and engagement cables. 2. Adjust the retaining clips and disconnect the reaction bracket cables. |
  |
1. Insert the locking pin with the gear selector and engagement unit in neutral. 2. Undo the screws (2a) and remove the gear selection and engagement unit (2b). |
  |
1. Remove the O-ring. |

Refitting
(
Removing
)
- Fit a new O-ring on the gear selector and engagement unit and check that the locking pin is still inserted in the openings to maintain the neutral position. |
|
|
- Introduce the gear selection and engagement cables in the reaction bracket hole, then fasten with the retaining clips. - Pressing manually, connect the ends of the gear selection and engagement cables to the ball joints for the levers on the gearbox. - Remove the locking pin for the gear selection and engagement unit. - Check the gear selection/engagement by moving the gearshifting lever and make sure that the self-adjustment device (quick adjuster) slides on the terminal. |

- Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
