- Position the vehicle on a lift.

|
- Undo the lower connector and the bolt for the intermediate bracket for the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, with reference to Op. 1088D55 COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE TO ENGINE OIL HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R. |
|
|
- Undo the lower connector for the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger, with reference to Op. 1084B40 ENGINE OIL DELIVERY PIPE TO TURBOCHARGER - R + R |
|
|
|
- Undo the bolts fixing the oil filter and heat exchanger mounting bracket to the crankcase. |
|
|
- Position a suitable container for collecting the engine oil. |
  |
1. Undo the bolts (1a), (1b) and remove the oil filter and heat exchanger mounting (1c). |
  |
1. Undo and remove the oil filter cover complete with cartridge. 2. Remove the O-ring, oil pump side. 3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the heat exchanger (3b) complete with gasket.

Refitting

1. Fit a new O-Ring on the mounting, oil pump side. 2. Fit a new engine oil filter cartridge and tighten the cover to the recommended torque.
3. Place the heat exchanger (3a) complete with new gasket in its housing and tighten the metric screws (3b). |

1. Place the oil filter and heat exchanger mounting (1a) in position and tighten the bolts (1b) and (1c) to the recommended torque.

|
- Tighten the bolts fixing the oil filter and heat exchanger mounting bracket to the crankcase. |
|
|
- Tighten the lower connector for the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger, with reference to Op. 1084B40 ENGINE OIL DELIVERY PIPE TO TURBOCHARGER - R + R |
|
|
- Tighten the lower connector and the bolt for the intermediate bracket for the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, with reference to Op. 1088D55 COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE TO ENGINE OIL HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R. |
|
|
|
Op. 0010T11 ENGINE OIL - CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP, IF NECESSARY |
|
|
|
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
