- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Unscrew the bolts (1a) securing the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1b), engine side. |
  |
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1b). |
  |
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the upper heat shield (1b) and the lower heat shield (1c). |

Refitting

- Refit the two heat shields in place on the engine oil heat exchanger and tighten the bolts. |
  |
1. Fit the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1a) in place and tighten the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.
|
  |
1. Tighten the bolts (1a) securing the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1b) to the engine block to the specified torque.
|
|
|
|
|
- Remove the vehicle from the lift. |
|
|
|
