Connect the diagnosis equipment to the Powertrain Control Module and display the following parameters:
Cruise control switch
Cruise Control lever request
Go to Step 2
Cruise Control lever faulty

WIRING CHECK
Powertrain Control Module wiring
Check the continuity of the wiring from the Powertrain Control Module to the steering column stalk
Go to Step 3
Faults in the continuity of the wiring
Restore the correct continuity for the wiring

Check the correct insulation of the wiring from the Powertrain Control Module to the steering column stalk
Go to Step 4
Wiring insulation not correct
Restore the correct insulation for the wiring

CRUISE CONTROL LEVER OPERATION CHECK
Cruise lever
Check that the Cruise Control lever is working correctly
End of diagnosis
Cruise Control lever not working properly
Replace the steering column stalk assembly
